About Me
I became involved in personal development and psychotherapy in 1992.
I trained in psychotherapy and counselling at Spectrum, a centre for humanistic psychotherapy in North London. My training there also included couples and parenting. Whilst working in the NHS Primary Care system using Cognitive Behavioural Techniques (CBT) I also trained in Solution Focussed Brief Therapy.
Prior to working as a psychotherapist, I spent about 10 years working at a senior level within the corporate world latterly balancing the demands of working life with family commitments.
I have been accredited and registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) since 2001 and I am in ongoing professional supervision as well as continuing professional development at Spectrum. I abide by both Spectrum and the UKCP codes of ethics.
